About Our Independent Guide
We are a community of pizza lovers dedicated to providing the most accurate, up-to-date, and honest information about the Pizza Hut menu.
Our Mission
Fast food menus change constantly. Prices vary by location, new items are tested regionally, and nutritional information can be hard to dig up. Our mission is to centralize this data into one easy-to-use, independent platform. We want you to know exactly what you're eating and exactly what it should cost.
Who We Are
We are NOT affiliated with Pizza Hut or Yum! Brands. We are an independent team of food bloggers, nutrition researchers, and everyday fans. Because we aren't corporate, we can provide unbiased reviews, point out when a deal isn't actually a deal, and give you honest recommendations.
A Brief History of Pizza Hut
Understanding the menu requires understanding the history. Pizza Hut was founded in 1958 in Wichita, Kansas, by brothers Dan and Frank Carney. They borrowed $600 from their mother to open a small pizza parlor. They named it "Pizza Hut" simply because the sign they bought only had room for eight letters.
The defining moment for the brand came with the invention of the Original Pan Pizza, a thick, buttery crust baked in a custom pan that delivered crispy edges and a fluffy center. It became the gold standard for American chain pizza.
In 1995, Pizza Hut revolutionized the industry again by introducing the Stuffed Crust Pizza, famously promoted with a massive advertising campaign urging people to eat their pizza backwards.
Today, with over 18,000 restaurants worldwide, the menu has expanded significantly to include WingStreet wings, Oven-Baked Pastas, and innovative items like Pizza Hut Melts. Our guide aims to document this ever-evolving culinary landscape.
